Billericay
is a town located in Basildon, Essex.
Billericay is 28 miles east of central London
and is a large town with a population of over 35,000.
Billericay
was born at the time of the Roman invasion (52BC-54BC) and several areas in
Billericay have Roman remains. When buildings have been previously prepared,
they have unearthed some of the burials from the Roman invasion. There is now a
new road built over their findings called Roman Way.

is home to the well-respected Billericay
School, whose alumni
include actor Mike Edmond and comedian Lee Evans. Buildings that attract
tourists to the High street include The Chantry House and St Mary Magdalen
Church.
