Clevedon
is located in the north of Somerset.
It is located approximately 130 miles from London and is home to over 20,000 people.
Clevedon
is most known for being a seaside town. Clevedon’s seaside boasts an
operational Grade II listed pier, which dates back to 1869 and now is known to
be one of the most impressive piers in the country.
Clevedon
is also famous for its link to the sea, with boat trips and fishing being
popular attractions. The Waverley
paddle steamer operates coastal tours from the pier in summer months. The beach
is a resort at the mouth of the River Severn. Clevedon became a very popular
town in the Victorian era has notable architecture from this time. Clevedon was
also known for being the town where the first production of Penicillin took
place.
