Romford is located to the northeast of London, approximately 15 miles from central London. The town has an approximate population of 37,000 people. Formally a market town in Essex, Romford is now the administrative headquarters of the London Borough of Havering.

Romford is well known for its shopping facilities, being home to four different shopping centres: Liberty Shopping Centre, The Mercury, The Brewery and Romford Shopping Hall.

Romford Stadium is one of London’s last remaining greyhound racing tracks.

Romford is home to such historical attractions as Wykeham Hall, the hall originates from the 15th century and boasts many historical features including stained glass windows and furnishings.
