Basildon
is located in Essex, approximately 25 miles outside London making it a popular location for
commuters to settle. The town is home to over 100,000 people and is well-known
for being the home of Terry Marsh, an ex-world-champion boxer. In 2010, Marsh
stood as an independent candidate in that year's general election for the seat
of South
Basildon and East Thurrock.
One
of the most popular attractions in Basildon is
the shopping; it boasts a huge shopping centre called East Gate, which attracts
